Amare Safety – Our story

Where it began

Amare Safety commenced operations as a supplier of personal protective safety equipment and associated products and services in the Australian market in 1985 and entered the NZ Market in 2004. It now stands in the marketplace as a leading privately-owned Safety business. This has been achieved through continually refining and improving on our service offering, as well as bringing to the market new products and services from the world’s leading product producers.

Our Mission

Amare Safety has always strived to maintain its two key objectives for over 30 years of the better brands & better service, that is -

  • To provide our customers with access to the widest choice of the best Personal Protective Safety Equipment on the market, at reasonable and competitive prices.

Our focus has always been on meeting and exceeding our customer’s product and service expectations. We work closely with all our customers to ensure that we develop product and supply solutions that are tailored around their specific requirements. We are privately owned and have been operating in Australia since 1985. Amare Safety has been established in New Zealand for almost 14 years and has a 60% local shareholding. With locations in Auckland (East Tamaki, North Shore and Takanini), Hamilton, Palmerston North and Christchurch, we are positioned to meet customer’s expectations.

We enjoy working with businesses of all sizes and aim to provide cost effective safety packages. Amare Safety NZ offers great safety brands, a commitment to service and flexibility for our customers.
